1. General

Welcome to the Pulse Dance Academy website. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Website Usage and Accounts

You can browse our website and book classes as a guest. When you book a class, we collect your name, email address, and payment details. This information is used solely for the purpose of class registration and payment processing. For more details on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

3. Class Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

To book a class, you must contact us via WhatsApp, phone call, or email.

Pricing and Packages

All class pricing, including single-class rates and package options for members and non-members, is clearly displayed on our website. Pricing for private lessons is available upon inquiry.

Payment Methods

We do not use a third-party payment gateway. All payments are made in person at the studio via cash, or QR Pay, or by bank transfer. 

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Student Cancellations

 

  • Single Classes: Single classes are offered on a pay-per-come basis. If you miss a class, no refund or credit will be issued.

  • Class Packages (4 or 8 classes): If you miss a class within your package, you can still attend any other available classes within the 30-day validity period. Packages are valid for a total of 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Freezing Class Packages: You may freeze your 4 or 8 class package for a fee of RM50. The validity of your package will be extended by 30 days, effective from the date you resume your classes.

  • Courses and CSTD Syllabus Classes: If you miss a class, you may arrange to replace it with another course or class of a similar level, subject to availability.

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds or prorated fees for classes missed by a student.

 

Studio Cancellations

 

  • If Pulse Dance Academy cancels a class, we will extend the validity of your class package by one week.

  • If we fail to deliver our services, a full refund or prorated fees will be issued at our discretion.

5. Class Etiquette and Rules

  • Dress Code: Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone wearing inappropriate attire, such as mini-skirts or flip-flops, that may pose a safety risk.

  • Booking and Punctuality: All classes must be booked at least 3 hours in advance. If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible so we can release your spot to another student.

  • Behavior: We expect all students to be respectful and courteous to our staff, instructors, and fellow students. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of verbal or physical abuse. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be entitled to a refund.

6. Liability and Safety

  • Assumption of Risk: All students participate in classes at their own risk. By participating, you acknowledge that dancing involves physical activity that may carry a risk of injury.

  • Health and Medical Conditions: It is your responsibility to inform your instructor of any pre-existing health conditions or injuries before class begins. Our instructors can offer modifications to exercises, but we are not liable for any injuries sustained during class.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Pulse Dance Academy. This includes content created by the academy as well as licensed material from stock libraries and other sources. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.

8. Photography and Video

We encourage students to take photos and videos during and after class for personal use and to share on social media. By attending our classes, you consent to being photographed or video-recorded by Pulse Dance Academy for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in our promotional materials, please inform us in advance.
